§ 02 · Why we exist

We're not A Place for Mom.

If you've been doing this for a while, you've probably been routed by a directory before. They sell your information to ten agencies and the next two weeks are spent fielding sales calls from people who don't have caregivers available anyway. We don't do that.

We're paid by the agencies, never by you. We work with three vetted partners in each city — not thirty — and we share your information with one of them after we've talked to you. You pick. They call. If they don't answer in five minutes, you don't pay them and they're off our list.

"The whole thing started because the founder spent two years caring for her mother through dementia and couldn't believe how broken the discovery layer was. Late Light is the version that should have existed."
